T-304 VS 400-Series Stainless Steel

As you examine different exhaust systems on the market today you will hear about 400 Series stainless steel. Manufactures use 400 Series stainless to save money. Many consumers believe that 400 is a superior grade stainless because the number is higher than 300. The fact is stainless steel rankings are like your ET at the drag races, the lower the number the better! We build our side pipes from aircraft quality T-304 stainless steel. T-304 has higher chromium and nickel content then 400 series. What this means to you is that the polished finish on your side pipes will be resistant to corrosion, rust, pitting, cracking, flaking and chipping. After continued use the finish on your side pipes might turn a brownish color caused from the heat and gases from your engine. To bring back the original luster just buff them with a stainless steel polish!

The Gas-N pipes are noticeably quieter. They have a much nicer tone than the FFR pipes and like the others said they will remain at the same tone, opposed to the FFR ones that will get much louder over time. The nice thing about the Gas-N pipes is that they will stay looking nice for ever, as long as you polish them once in a while. Nick has a cleaner that makes them look like new in just a few wipes. And if they get really dirty or slightly corroded they can be cleaned up with some sand paper and then re-polished again.

By far these are the best looking and sounding pipes out there!!

Gas-N pipes have a deeper tone to them, not the "sharp" tone that the FFR ones have, especially after the glass has burned out. I wouldn't trade them for any other pipes out there. These things are a work of art.
